Each month is priced independently: requests = devices × events/device summed across Geolocation, Geocoding and Places, run through Google's monthly tiered rates, then the WGS progressive discount is applied to that month's combined Google spend. The year total is the sum of all 12 months — not the annualised request volume — because Google resets the free tier and rate brackets every billing month.
